Description

The Market Finance Professional 2 is a finance partner to Humana's Florida Medicaid division and other related business units. The Market Finance Professional 2 collects, analyzes and reports on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. Work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination for the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Market Finance Professional 2 utilizes technical skills and multiple data sources to build, maintain, and improve reporting, tools, and processes. This includes compiling, verifying, and analyzing key performance indicators and providing accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decision-making purposes.

The Market Finance Professional 2 will work cross functionally across multiple teams, acting as a finance resource to other functional areas of Humana's Florida Medicaid division and other related business units.

The Market Finance Professional 2:

Develops production and ad hoc reports

Effectively communicates report results using presentation and verbal skills

Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations

Prioritizes work in order to meet report timelines

Requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed

Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Must have at least 3 years of SQL experience, preferably SQL Server

Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies

In-depth Microsoft Excel experience, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and graphs

Ability to work independently and to collaborate with teammates and business partners

Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Previous health care industry experience

Experience with data visualizations tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview
