Job Description
The Expense and Project Reporting Analyst assists in the reporting of capital projects and programs from a budget, forecast and reporting aspect to support the Construction and Properties / Facilities department. This role will provide guidance and aid to multiple business segments including Retail and Non-Retail Business Units. This position will participate in cross-functional capital projects with internal CVS departments.
Primary duties include:
• Annual expense and capital budgeting
• Monthly forecasting
• Department reporting
• Various business analytics
• Financial project closeout
• Special projects and ad-hoc analysis – prepare financial documentation required to account for all expense and capital costs associated with various projects (planned and unplanned)
In this role you will work with Retail and Non-Retail management and external groups to develop the department's annual budget plan, tied to corporate initiatives and support of the existing store base and business initiatives. You will also support multiple department managers with financial reporting, accruals, forecast and budget requirements.
Other duties include:
• Assist in the development of quarterly capital accruals
• Prepare annual development and training sessions for capex requirements for the department as well as provide on-board capital training for new department associates when required
• Review and approve department capex invoices utilizing Service Channel
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 100,000
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years' experience in corporate/operational budgeting or similar financial reporting field
• Strong PowerPoint and 2 or more years of Excel experience including: functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Access, Tableau and SQL
• Knowledge of SAP / SAP S4/HANA
• Knowledge of Hyperion Planning and SmartView / Essbase
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate across many levels of the organization
• Attention to detail, able to work in a team environment and have the drive to acquire new skills is essential
• Ability to work independently
Education
Bachelors' Degree, with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent experience
