The Cash Flow Manager will be a key member of the Corporate FP&A team. This will be a highly visible role that provides opportunities to help establish and execute strategy across 3 major financial statements: Pure’s P&L, Balance Sheet, and in particular our Cash Flows Statement, while also granting creative freedom and challenging the incumbent to implement innovative ideas and solutions. Success in the role will be measured through improved P&L and Cash Flows forecasting accuracy and consistency, and better streamlined planning/forecasting process across the entire finance organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Help coordinate the annual planning and budget processes, including maintaining the company’s multi year P&L and financial model

Help drive scenario and long range modeling for new business models, new product innovations, geo expansion, and other strategic initiatives and objectives

Report and analyze Pure’s operating, investment, and financing activities to project the overall net change in cash-flow for a given period

Identify and implement opportunities to improve internal processes and systems/tools to automate and optimize planning/predictability, reporting/visibility, and usage of cash

Coordinate cross-functional alignment and consistency with accounting, treasury, FP&A business partners, and others, in order to understand the underlying detailed drivers, dependencies, and decision factors impacting the company’s cash sources and obligations.

Drive business insight and business excellence by reporting KPIs on weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence

Perform ad hoc analysis including, but not limited to, revenue to billings/collections trends, FX-related impacts, facilities/IT/infrastructure investments, corporate taxes, and other operating expenses.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBA a plus.

5-7 Years of progressively complex roles in a financial function with financial planning and analysis experience/understanding, particularly in a Corporate FP&A role.

Strong communication and “story-telling” skills, particularly to executive management.

Demonstrated track record and success in working with large amounts of data, synthesizing patterns and trends into compelling analysis for executive decision-making

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, and financial modeling abilities.

Self-motivated curiosity, sense of urgency, ability to pivot seamlessly between big picture and fine level granularity, and relentless focus on outcomes not activity

Ability to partner cross-functionally, through strong relationship building, influencing, negotiating and communication skills, with all levels of management.

Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills.

Experience with NetSuite and Anaplan software a plus.

This position will start remote, with the expectation to frequently work onsite at our Mountain View, CA offices once employees return to the office.
