Detailed Position Responsibilities:
Lead a diverse and growing team, energizing and empowering the group as well as providing strategic vision.
Accountable for the accuracy, collection, issue management and reporting of enterprise software, hardware and SaaS budgets.
Partner with IT Finance to foster transparency into costs and support the delivery budget, projection and year-end accrual processes relating to enterprise software, hardware and SaaS spend.
Partner with Delivery Provider Financial Management to centralize, align and report SaaS cloud providers’ costs.
Centralize and manage Purchase Order creation for IT.
Manage IT Operations Cost Center. This includes budget, projections & analysis.
Desired Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Management, or related field.
Minimum of five years of business experience. Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry experience is preferred. Must have experience in financial processes and how they apply to IT and the pharmaceutical industry.
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking, leadership, and partnering.
Effective at leading a team in a matrixed environment. Demonstrates the ability to mobilize, lead and energize cross functional teams.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with employees and management at all levels. Strong facilitation and meeting management skills.
Proficient at analyzing and defining business processes, using structured problem solving and available tools to quickly evaluate problems, identify root cause, create action plans, assess impact and develop resolution options.
