As a key member of the Market and Consumer Insights team, you will be focused on strengthening and accelerating the CRM analytics capability. In this role, you will partner closely with the CRM Strategy team and the Marketing Operations team collaboratively to make the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. marketing program world class. The successful candidate will bring business acumen and well-honed analytical skills to address customer-related business questions.
You will be known for providing insightful, well crafted, data driven insights that solve business problems and reveal unknown opportunities to help us better serve our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a primary Test Design and Measurement point person for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s CRM team.
2. Evangelize the benefits of insights and controlled testing by constantly engaging key stakeholders.
3. Scope business questions and identify where analytics can have the greatest impact.
4. Drive insights into the organization that lead to fact-based decision making.
5. Work cross functionally within Market and Consumer Insights and with the broader Marketing teams to synthesize multiple sources of information as needed.
6. Perform moderate to advanced analytics as needed.
7. Maintain and / or create new reporting and analytics measurement infrastructure
Basic Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of retail database analytics experience
• 3 or more years of experience writing Structured Query Language
• 3 or more years of experience using either Python, R, or SAS
• 3 or more years of experience applying the scientific method / analytical techniques to solve business problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, as well as Senior Leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or greater in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or related Data Science field
• 1 or more years of Unix scripting experience
• Familiarity with consumer direct marketing programs or one to one marketing analytics
• Strong client management skills and experience with end-to-end project management
• Experience in a consumer insights function for a global consumer-oriented organization in retail, manufacturing or a related industry
• Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, business analytics or other quantitatively oriented degree
• Skilled in application of ANOVA and multi-variate regression techniques
• Experience in experimental design (DOE) and in D-optimal experimental designs
• Natural curiosity when encountering unusual or unexpected results in work
• Experienced in handling large data, reduction of dimensionality, working in cloud environment
• Experience using reporting and dashboarding packages such as Tableau, Power BI, Micro-Strategy
