Aon is seeking a Business Project Manager to join our Mergers and Acquisitions diligence team.As part of an industry-leading team, you will advise our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Corporate M&A development team.Job Responsibilities:Project management of corporate development projects globally but primarily The Americas.Centralizing communications, working with corporate development and businesses to oversee Corp Dev Acquisition and Divestiture processes for a number of individual projects.Communicate externally with representatives of companies to coordinate activities and deliverables.Facilitating the delivery of standard reports and analysis. Coaching business teams on the M&A processProject leadership in team building, communication, following consistent processes, constructing project plans, coordinating schedules across participants, risk trackingPerform post project lessons learned reviews and assist in feeding them back into projects and processes.Assist in due diligence and the development of transition (integration/separation) planning activities.Maintain relationships with workstream participants and regional/global function representatives to improve their processes and improve engagementsInterface with the Integration Governance office to ensure smooth transition and support between the diligence phase and the implementation phase of an Acquisition or divestiture Required Experience:Property and Casualty insurance technical proficiency. Broad knowledge of specialty insurance including property, casualty, financial lines. Cyber knowledge is a plus.Minimum 3-5 years solid Project management experience coordinating activities and information flow from and between various groups of people both internally and externally.Strong Business and Financials background would be a plus.Ability to manage multiple project cycles simultaneously.Ability to develop strong network relationships interacting with various people to solicit buy-in.Ability to work independently and/or in working groups to complete projectsStrategic and analytical skills – attention to detail while also being able to draw connections in order to provide overall conclusions, a strong assimilator of information.Communication (written and verbal) – ability to communicate well and at the appropriate level with a wide range of individuals Ability to perform under stress / tight time frames Education:Bachelor’s degree in related fieldWe offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.
