Description
The Lead Analyst - Procurement Center of Excellence is responsible for Analytics & Insights in the organization, Project Management on key initiatives, and management of ad hoc leadership requests including alignment on Contract Management / Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities
Procurement CoE Lead (P4) Responsibilities
Leads the execution of the CoE Analytics strategy from design, plan, technical development, deployment, change management and adoption, maintenance, and improvements. Manages the BPO relationship with respect to Insights and Analytics.
Creates and operates necessary program management structures for enterprise initiatives requiring procurement participation, such as Project Growth
Develops the CoE Analytics long-term roadmap and strategy with Procurement CoE leader
Informs, influences, and advises stakeholders and leadership regarding procurement analytics and insights
Evaluates external benchmarks and systems to identify areas for Humana comparison and adoption
Collaborates with category managers, leadership and BPO to develop specific application needs for new insights, such as Marketing Rates, AP Analytics, and Fieldglass Analytics apps
Represents and brings expertise on behalf of the Procurement department to segment stakeholders and leaders with minimal direction
Advises procurement leadership on opportunities for process improvement and enhanced customer experience and provides insights based on independent analysis
Operates with independent judgment with respective to paths forward and complex issues with minimal direction
Supports Supplier Management Leadership Team and Chief Procurement Officer with preparing and organizing monthly leadership and Town Hall presentations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
6 or more years of technical experience in data reporting
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
Proficient in SQL
Experience with tools such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBi for creating data visualizations
Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Home/Office Hybrid workstyle with locations for offices based in Louisville KY, DC Metro, Boston, or NYC. Remote workstyle is an option for candidates who are willing to work Eastern Time Zone business hours and be willing to travel up to 10% of the time, including once a month
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Advanced in SQL, SAS and other data systems
Experience with tools such as Tableau and Qlik for creating data visualizations
Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
