Excel Power User/Powerpivot and Financial Services Industry
Excel Power User with Powerpivot development skills and substantial financial services industry experience. Must be proficient with advanced Excel features and functionality, including pivot tables.
Our client is implementing a BI toola Microsoft product called PowerPivot (written on DAX). Some exposure to this would be ideal (but its only a couple years old; someone with advanced skills on Excel should be able to pick it up). They are using C# to interface with the presentation layer and Java web services to access the data.
Java is Not a gotta have, but some familiarity would help in that they will be consuming java web services (Java web services is how they access the data).
This team utilizes an iterative development approach similar to Agile. It is a collaborative, team-oriented environment that requires self-motivation and good communication skills.
