Position Summary
Special Loans Specialist will be responsible for various tasks related to servicing loans protected by SCRA, Matured/ Balloon loans, HELOCs, ARM, and handle other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for daily tasks required to service SCRA protected loans.
Responsible for daily tasks required to handle Balloon loans.
Assist for daily tasks required to service HELOC loans.
Assist with daily tasks required to service ARM loans, including, but not limited to:

Reviewing ARM trial and final balances
Adjusting accounts to appropriate rate index; maintaining and updating ARM indices as reported by the Fed
Completing ARM and Principal Reduction loan modifications on current loans and process to system.
Performing manual rate changes for ARMs that have annual or semiannual rate change cycles and other ARM loans with freeze codes.
Working special projects and other tasks as assigned by Manager.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Incumbent will be responsible for meeting RoundPoint’s commitment to compliance.
Qualifications
Required:
College degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of mortgage and consumer loan servicing, specifically investor, Federal and state guidelines.
Minimum of 2 year of mortgage servicing experience.
Data Entry and 10 key experiences required.
Must possess analytical and decision making skills.
Basic accounting knowledge desirable.
Intermediate PC skills.
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Detail and goal oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
