Job Description:
This is a key role in the Retail Canada Pricing & Demand Team interfacing with many stakeholders and optimizing Retail site profitability.
Fuels Implementer & Pricing Support
Responsible to deliver C1 fuels margin targets as well as volume targets to improve profitability
Analyze site and market data to uncover patterns & themes and as well as highlight competitive dynamics
Recommend tactics to optimize margin delivery as well as devise strategies to improve market position
Collaborate with various stakeholders to generate and execute new creative solutions to gain competitive advantages through pricing tactics and strategies
Provide strategic recommendations from weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports (e.g. market share, premium penetration & differentials, rack vs. street price, survey compliance)
Lead Retail fuel conversion activities and assist as required with volume-related activities such as allocation setting
Engage and develop relationships with Global colleagues to promote knowledge and best practice sharing
Lead CI initiatives to achieve long-term goals in improving processes & overall market profitability
Support Pricing Coordinators
Job Requirements
5 years of professional experience; a strong overall understanding of the retail fuels business is an asset
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines or requisite business experience
Data analytics experience
Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) advanced experience/knowledge required
Has high degree of self-direction
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Investigative thinking and astute attention to detail while demonstrating the ability to think broadly
Proven commercial mindset
Strong influencing and coaching skills
Highly organized and able to manage priorities
Additional Comments
Amenable to work in Canadian business hours (night shift)
The role may include weekend and holiday work hours
The role requires accessibility beyond normal business hours (on-call requirements)
Day to day duties may change to accommodate business needs
