About THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Netherlands Controlling team. The objective of the Controlling team within PVH Netherlands is to act as the bridge between the Business and Finance; supporting the Business owners to translate their strategies into budgets and long term plans; and with that setting and safeguarding financial targets for PVH Netherlands.

The Finance Analyst reports into the Senior Business Controller and will be the main liaison between the Accounting Centre and the Business as well as a key support for the rest of the Business Controlling team.

In this role, you are expected to collaborate with the business and become an expert on topics with financial implications. Your main focus will be to support the Senior Business Controller to increase financial controls across the Wholesale and Retail businesses in Netherlands. This will involve working closely with our Accounting Centre in Ternat as well as key stakeholders across the Wholesale and Retail business.

Responsibilities include:

• Support in month end closing activities, working closely with the Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely month close, reviewing all postings where applicable.
• Responsible for management of accruals, monthly recharges and invoices, from preparation to reconciliation.
• Preparation of journals covering multiple cost centres
• Improve stakeholder management acting as key liaison with Operations and Accounting teams
• Ownership of the NL Store leases processes, working closely with Operations to ensure accurate and up to date information within CoStar (lease accounting system)
• Monthly P&L analysis based on actual results to include OPEX, CAPEX, Depreciation & Amortization reporting, identifying cost savings where possible.
• Responsible for weekly NL reporting ensuring efficiencies where possible.
• Support with ad-hoc requests to include monthly re-forecasts and yearly Budget process for the NL market.

About YOU

• Studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification
• You'll have minimum 2 years relevant Finance or Accounting work experience
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of accounting and real estate systems (SAP, BPC, CoStar) is essential.
• You'll have excellent organisational and time-management skills demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
• You’ll have the ability to build relationships with ease, working well with key stakeholders
• You’ll be a strong team player with an ability to manage, motivate and work effectively within a small team.
• You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace.
