Description
Humana's Finance Shared Services organization is looking for a Finance M&A Integration Senior Professional to drive best practices and implementation related to the finance integration of acquired entities into Humana.
As the Finance M&A Integration Senior Professional, you will research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data and processes with a focus on acquisition integration. You will help drive finance integration by refining and implementing the integration playbook. You'll influence the strategy on the finance work stream integration and have considerable latitude in determining objectives, approaches to assignments, and project components. You will also coordinate the finance integration across stakeholders and help identify activities and processes requiring assimilation. You must enjoy collaboration, drive change, and possess an outstanding and trusted leadership presence.
Responsibilities
The Finance M&A Integration Senior Professional must be resilient and comfortable operating within an ambiguous environment. The work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and includes the following:
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements with a focus on acquisition integration
Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark and best practices for finance acquisition integration including refining and developing the integration playbook
Calibrating and prioritizing deliverables consistent with project timelines
Identify trends, conduct risk assessments, and identify areas of improvement resulting from information obtained through business partners
Facilitate cross-functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders to implement finance acquisition integration best practices
Provide regular status updates to leadership by communicating updates, dependencies, escalations, etc.
Collaborate with business partners to improve and build repeatable models for future implementations
Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project and take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
5 or more years' of finance, accounting, or acquisition integration experience
Superior interpersonal and facilitation skills. Ability to quickly build rapport, trust and strong collaboration
Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. Remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity
Able to exercise independent judgment
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communications and presentation skills
Self-starter and critical thinker
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Power Point, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree
Six Sigma Certification
Experience with SQL, Excel Power Query, and/or Microsoft Power BI
Possess solid understanding of how organizational capabilities interrelate across operational work streams
Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization model
Experience developing and managing implementations through run-out and systems sun-setting phases
Experience in health insurance or provider health industries
Additional Information
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
