The Financial Analyst, Wholesale is responsible for supporting the Sr. Financial Analyst of Finance Wholesale and Director of Finance Wholesale in identifying business objectives, opportunities and challenges. Assist in preparing reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month end close functions (i.e., account analysis, accruals, reclass and various journal entries)
- Work closely with department Heads to ensure expenses are captured timely and accurately
- Review, audit, code invoices and work closely with AP on vendor compliance
- Maintain expense/invoice tracker schedules and reconcile with budget owners
- Review, audit and approve T&E reports
- Perform monthly account reconciliation & analysis
- Prepare ACS/SAP and Business Objects reports to update Webi files
- Actualize shipping and financial files for sales, margin and allowances
- Update and reconciliation of checkbooks by division
- Assist in monthly expense and balance sheet estimate/forecasts
- Prepare, analyze and distribute department monthly operating expense analyses with variance explanations
- Maintain CAPEX, Prepaid, Accrued Expenses and other schedules
- Manage fixed asset forecast and monthly CERs reconciliation
- Assist in SAP implementation
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Ability to interact with associates in various departments within the company/division
- Strong organization, communication and analytical skills required
- Advanced Excel skills are required
- Knowledge of SAP, and Wholesale preferred
- Able to take initiative in researching issues.
- Ability to improve processes and work independently.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Ability to see the big picture while working with the details
