SUMMARY
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Financial Analyst for our Anchorage office. This position provides complex financial reporting, planning and budgeting support to help the company make well informed decisions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statement data through the use of multiple reporting systems.
Lead the annual budgeting process, gathering information from various departments and ensuring accurate financial data.
Prepare and monitor monthly budget for variances and update annual moving forecasts.
Communicate with various departments on project status, budget variance and forecasts.
Work with IT to implement and monitor new system integrations and validate changes.
Provide necessary training to managers and staff over financial reports, metrics, and systems.
Identify alternatives and recommendations for potential cost savings and increased efficiencies.
Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
Assist in gathering information for insurance renewals, audits and tax filings.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
3 years of experience as a financial analyst or position providing similar responsibilities.
BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Knowledge of various reporting software packages including Deltek CostPoint, Cognos, Adaptive Insights, Sage Intacct or other BI tools.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting software.
Experience creating, monitoring and reporting on budgets.
Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments.
Experience in an organization with a multi-tiered consolidation structure.
Preferred
CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
Previous experience with Alaska Native Corporations.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
