Job Description:

The Commercial Finance Advisor role acts as the primary Finance focal for supporting commercial and/or deal activities in a core Shell business. In this role, the successful candidate will be a business partner to commercial and general management colleagues as a representative of Finance. This role will also provide deal support including finance advice, economic modeling, and coordination of support from other Finance functions. Additionally, the role will be a key champion for driving business performance, value management and risk management of their business unit.

Requirements:


Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience with prior oil & gas, investment management, direct leadership and/or cost management experience particularly relevant.
Upcoming or recent completion of a top-tier MBA program
Bachelors degree in an area relevant to the role
Ability to gain the confidence of various internal and external parties building on strong knowledge and understanding of the business drivers, value and risk.
Problem-solving mindset with the courage to ensure professional financial rigor is applied to commercial decision-making process and risk management bringing analytics and insights to the table.
Ability to rapidly understand the specific business or function context.
