Lead all aspects of the mortgage loan origination sales cycle, including application, submission, package quality, check-in points, rate and lock conversations, realtor conversations, confirming terms before docs, ensuring closing dates, thanking the member for the business, etc.u0026nbsp; Ensure origination team understands and complies with all regulation and submits complete and accurate loan applications. Stay abreast of all regulatory changes and affirm sales department adherence to all requirements.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eRecruit, hire and train origination staff. Ensure all team members have tools and access to systems necessary to serve our members.u0026nbsp; Set expectations, coach and evaluate performance of direct reports and team. Work with Senior Leadership to ensure appropriate compensation plans are in place that are reflective of CU values and incent proper sales behavior.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eDetermine action on loan applications and underwriting decisions to ensure timely disposition. Manage rate locks, contract dates, and other key metrics. Ensure member satisfaction and production metrics are on target with enterprise goals and SLAs.u0026nbsp; Ensure all escalations and complaints are handled and addressed in timely manner. Partner with loan operations to manage priorities and loan exceptions.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eCreate and produce accurate and timely reporting around team and individual performance to recognize outstanding performance, highlight trends and address gaps. Ensure accountability for improvement when team members are not meeting expectations.
