Job Description:

As a Debt Recovery Analyst, you will be responsible for performing debt recovery activities for Shell operating unit. This requires strong level of leadership and involves creating very good working relationships with the local Sales Teams, Credit Risk Advisors and Legal Advisors. Debt Recovery Analyst will need to have the ability to contact with customers to discuss the issues concerning non-payment of debts and advising them of the action that will be taken in the event they do not submit funds. The ability to negotiate effectively is a key requirement.

Your main accountabilities would be:

• Managing debt recoveries (ad hoc contact with customer for special requests) to ensure delivery on recovery targets by year end

• Managing relationship with the external collecting agencies according to local contracts: follow-up on debt transferred externally and monitoring of performance

• Performing monthly analysis of receivable portfolio

• Processing bad debt provisioning and write offs

• Actively supporting the Sales organization on all credit related matters

• Negotiating and recommending refinancing of bad debts

We are looking for:

• Fluent Bulgarian

• Advanced English communications skills (written and oral)

• 3 plus years of relevant work experience

• Sound understanding of financial processes

• Legal knowledge will be an asset

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to reach non-standard solutions by customers

• Ability to work under high pressure an in a rapidly changing environment

• CI mindset, project management skills
