Come on board and reap the rewards. ResponsibilitiesLead at least one Specialty area as the main local resource for the PhilippinesCoordinate with regional/global Specialty counterparts to seamlessly transfer technical knowledge to the Philippines team relating to the assigned SpecialtyProvide advice to clients and colleagues on market conditions that includes existing coverage and capacity, pricing environment, available coverage enhancements, etc. within scope of responsibilityAssist the Account Management and Claims colleagues in claim cases requiring technical guidance especially in situations involving the assigned Specialty areaProvide guidance in program design and review policy wordings to ensure it is fit-for-purpose based on the client’s risk profile and risk transfer objectivesDevelop market placement strategies in coordination with the CBO and/or Specialty Broking Leader as well as the Broking Center colleagues, if applicableExecute technical reviews of insurance programs and placement plans including those handled directly by the Account Management teamNegotiate with underwriters to secure the appropriate terms and conditions aligned with the established program designPrepare underwriting submissions, placement slips, insurance contracts, endorsements and other relevant broking documents in coordination with insurance carriers and/or Broking CenterCoordinate with carrier contacts and Broking Center colleagues to facilitate the documentation process to meet turn-around-time targetManage the placement process independentlyEngage with carrier contacts and Broking Center/Specialty Broking colleagues on a regular basis to maintain key market relationshipsActively participate in business development initiatives and client/prospect presentationsAssist the Account Management colleagues in promoting best practices in broking, the regular use of standardized templates, archiving of broking files, peer review process, and compliance mattersWork closely with the CBO and Specialty Broking Leader to ensure client/prospect needs and expectations are adequately metCollaborate, whenever possible, with other colleagues on growth opportunitiesAbout You: Indicating a track record of success, you will be inquisitive, keen to learn and have a passion for data and the opportunities and business insights it reveals.Demonstrate resilience; the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid changeAbility to work with all levels including senior partners.Able to develop simple solutions to complex problemsStrong client-focus with a passion for delivering valuable contributions.Results driven and take accountability for results.Highly analytical and diligentPersonable and able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersConfident in presenting work to teammates and clientsAble to act with conviction and be a people-influencerAble to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writingHighly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointCandidates with an undergraduate degree (graduate of any 4 – year course) and experience working in an insurance, financial services, or management consulting will be viewed advantageously.
