We are seeking a motivated and highly analytical Senior Revenue Analyst to handle the day-to-day accounting needs of our ecommerce revenue activities. This position will work closely with all levels of management across some of our marketplace businesses (Society6 and Saatchi Art). They must be able to communicate effectively with team members and businesses partners while using their analytical skill to understand the needs of the business. We want people who are detail-oriented, committed, and eager to learn.

Society6 is home to hundreds of thousands of artists from around the globe, uploading and selling their original works as 30 premium consumer goods. Saatchi Art is an online art gallery where you can find the perfect original paintings, fine art photographs and more from the largest selection of original art in the world. You’ll Report To: Sr. Manager, Accounting
A typical day as a Sr. Revenue Analyst might include:
Own all aspects of the Marketplaces revenue including monthly reporting, reconciliation, and quarterly analysis.
Update and maintain monthly workbooks for reconciling cash and revenue.
Support the hospitality and wholesale business by invoicing and sending collections as needed.
Analyze and research variances and trends in order to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain relationships with Marketplaces business partners in order to facilitate effective information sharing and understanding as well as retrieving data and reporting in a timely manner.
Tackle ad-hoc projects, including deep-dive analyses as assigned.
Work with internal/external auditors for all general ledger and revenue related items, ensuring internal controls are properly executed and financial statements are accurate (and their corresponding balance sheet accounts).
Identify and lead process improvement projects to automate and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures to maximize the contribution to strategic and business goals.
Participate and assist in IT projects that impact revenue and ensure they have been properly tested and the results meet revenue accounting requirements and internal controls. Assist IT in the discovery, specification gathering, development, testing, and implementation of system initiatives that impact revenue.

You’ll be successful if you are a positive, proactive accounting professional with experience handling day-to-day accounting.
What You Have:
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred; CPA candidate a plus.
3-5 years of progressive work experience; revenue accounting and financial analysis experience strongly preferred.
Good business judgment and ability to synthesize, analyze, and extract implications from data.
Understanding of the revenue recognition guidance; ecommerce experience is a plus.
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and quality work.
Excellent Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
Tech-savvy and a quick learner.
Must show accountability, be proactive, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Independent, self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.
