ERP Oracle Systems Analyst - Finance

Profile

The Judge Group is seeking a degreed ERP Systems Business Analyst for a large manufacturing facility in Indiana. The Analyst will focus on Oracle EBS. He or she will conduct needs assessments, senior-level business process analyses, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align IT solutions with business delivery initiatives regarding the Finance Business Process domain.
Responsibilities
• Serves as a liaison between IT and the Finance function to provide business and technical solutions that meet needs of the user
• Provides support for Oracle FA, GL, AR, AP, Workflow and Sub-Ledger Accounting
• Formulates and defines objectives and system scope through research
• Utilizes understanding of the applicable industry requirements and business systems
• Interprets high-level business requirements to IT functional specifications and manages changes needed
• Tests solutions and delivers end products to the community
• Trains users on process functionality of the business
• Negotiates commitments and agreements by facilitating communication between IT and the business unit(s) from start to finish
• Analyzes and understands Finance and Accounting strengths and weaknesses to recognize opportunities for automating functions and processes
• Possesses expert knowledge of the supported business unit(s)
• Understands IT capabilities and systems
• Helps educate IT on the business direction
• Leads low0complexity projects (small to medium size)
• Creates business requirements and additional documents for project support
• Evaluates and analyzes existing and anticipated systems
• Leads process configuration design activities
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree (IT, CIS, Finance, Accounting or related field)
• Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite (R11 or higher, preferably R12)
• Hands-on working experience with finance modules
• 5 years’ experience in one of the following areas: Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Inventory Costing, AP/AR, Credit & Collections, or Accounting
• Experience with systems roll-outs, providing on-going systems support and business process re-engineering utilizing best business practices
• Oracle certification in EBS highly preferred
• Experience in support of Business Intelligence modules (OBIEE) highly preferred
• Lean/Six Sigma experience highly preferred (Belt a plus)
• Manufacturing industry experience highly desirable
