Following a very strong investment - they know that now is the time to build out their own finance department and are seeking a strong ambitious qualified accountant
, ideally with experience in SaaS
to join their team and take charge of a hands-on accounting function and build it into the future.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this strategic position will offer an excellent career path as well as fast learning as the company eyes rapid expansion over the next 2 years.
Key responsibilities will include:
Implementation of Financial Reporting Systems
Responsibility for monthly and ad-hoc management and financial reporting, planning and forecasting
Work with Senior Management on strategically growing and managing the organisation
Overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, including international markets
To develop cost awareness and control in all areas of the organisation.
To supervise payroll and liaison with HR/Payroll Manager.
Assisting with subscription management and operational issues
To prepare the production of annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns, in liaison with external audit and tax consultants.
To support the CEO via the provision of regular and ad-hoc information, analysis, reports on actual results, budgeting and cash flow management.
Point of contact for bank partners, legal advisers and external auditors.
Assist with M&A activities and business integration
Key Qualifications and Skills
Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with 5-7 years PQE preferably in a high-growth medium size business
Software/Software as a Service or Recurring revenue / Subscription industry experience a distinct advantage.
International experience a distinct advantage
Great communication & presentation skills to drive collaboration with other teams and
stakeholders.
Highly proficient with MS Excel and general computer usage
