The Senior Financial Analytics Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Humana is looking for an experienced individual in financial analytics that will be working with large volume datasets and applying their ability to take action with data-driven results. This individual will be working with both internal and external partners, ensuring deadlines are met and financial transactions are executed with high accuracy. Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed


Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 4 years financial analysis experience
Prior experience with review of claims and eligibility data and processing financial transactions
3 years experience writing SQL queries
Experience in compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data in order to identify, explain, influence variances and trends (Excel VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Must be able to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques
Experience working with moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Financial or actuarial background
Healthcare contract experience (Risk based contracts a plus)
SAS experience
SSIS Experience
Power BI experience
Excel VBA experience
