Senior Financial Analyst
This position provides critical analysis of key profitability and portfolio trends to enable business leaders to make highly informed, data driven decisions. The position will manage and work collaboratively with U.S. & Canada affiliates, IT (data management) and business leadership teams.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or another technical field
At least 2 years of work experience in a related field
Experience with managing large data sets and data reporting tools such as SQL, Python, or another programming language
Strong, demonstrated aptitude of intellectual curiosity and desire to perform rigorous data analysis
Attention to accuracy and detail in processing information
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Engaging personal style with a high degree of self-motivation
Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Team player with a hands-on approach
Strong analytical mind with experience in strategic portfolio analysis
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately critical
Excellent analytical/problem solving and decision making skills
Competent in Windows based computer applications (Microsoft Office) with a high proficiency in Excel
What You'll Do:
Evaluate strategic revenue opportunities providing guidance and recommendations to manager and SVP of Finance
Lead pricing and profitability initiatives working in tandem with sales and residuals to generate revenue and improve margins
Create, maintain and enhance various financial models to evaluate pricing proposals for existing portfolio
Maintain SOX control for bulk pricing initiatives beginning with execution of pricing all the way through revenue validation post pricings
Develop and manage KPI and insightful analytics to determine performance of various channels
Provide financial impact analysis from the card brand releases and develop pricing strategies to mitigate the cost exposure
Perform benchmarking on key metrics including merchant revenue, volumes, transactions, and merchant counts
Work with the business on partner repricing requests and present recommendations to manager and SVP of Finance
Ad hoc pricing requests, including requests from operations or settlement IT
