ADP is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst – This role is based in Roseland, NJ (Hybrid)

Summary


The Sr. Financial analyst will lead the governance for the global chart of accounts and provide support primarily to Accounting and FP&A in North America but will include business support for some international locations.
The individual will be responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts representing the financial statement close, consolidation, decision support, tax, and IT teams across ADP in obtaining/documenting analysis, receiving input and communicating proposed changes and updates to the global chart of accounts.
This person will provide governance support for Finance Systems projects including identifying the stakeholders, ensuring proper communications and documentation is created for new governance processes created.

Responsibilities


Lead the maintenance and standardization of global Chart of Account governance, policies, and procedures to enable the preparation of complete and accurate financial statements for external and internal reporting.
Lead the analysis of data to ensure proper rationalization and clear definitions of global chart of accounts.
Completes and presents periodic status reports on usage of global chart of accounts to key stakeholders.
Applies Finance and Accounting background to manage detailed project plans, issues and risks logs, and related action items while ensuring that all dependencies and associated risks are resolved and managed with cross-team/functional involvement.
Review Net New Business (Starts & Losses) adjustments for Oracle entities during the month end close.
Provides support to HCM Governance team for Payroll GL change requests to ensure GL segment combinations align with chart of accounts governance rules.
Manages policy review and required updates for governance created documents – NNB, DRM/DRG
Coordinates user acceptance testing and training for goverance lead projects
Performs other related duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent in education and experience.
5-8 years as a Financial Analyst with a proven proficiency in performing complex financial analyses.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:


Business Analysis and Acumen (Foundational): Demonstrates organized and disciplined problem-solving skills, has solid analytical skills, and uses persistence to solve problems.
Technical Acumen (Foundational): Has solid desktop application skills, specifically strong excel skills including the ability to create basic macros; some familiarity with Hyperion is preferred.
Learns new technology quickly and is adept at using data to create existing reports.
Influential Business Partner (Foundational): Is a proactive communicator who conveys messages clearly and who understands the importance of good communications (informing, involving), demonstrates a comfort in speaking up, and can deal with conflict.
