We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Media Relations Manager to report to the Director of Public Relations. This role will support our media relations initiatives and raise awareness for the company.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of awards, rankings, reviews, and survey submissions
Research, write and submit complete, accurate and timely survey responses
Collaborate with the graphic design and marketing teams to create presentations for reviews and surveys
Ensure accuracy of post-publication reviews and surveys and work with authors on corrections
Analyze review and survey results and maintain detailed records of results
Maintain a calendar of awards, rankings, reviews, and surveys and proactively research new opportunities
Assist with the development of press materials including media pitches
Assist with obtaining positive publicity by responding promptly and accurately to media inquiries
Monitor media coverage and compile daily coverage reports
Maintain and update media lists
Conduct analysis of media placements as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, communications/English, PR, or journalism and 3-5 years of relevant PR experience in the financial services industry or at an agency handling financial services accounts
Financial services experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Research and survey submission experience
Proven track record of positive media placement in global print, broadcast, and online media
Financial services media contacts preferred
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
