Job Summary:
Our client is an IT Business Analyst responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way.
Duties
:
Formulate and define systems solutions for complex projects
Work with Development and business users to design, test and release these solutions to the production environment
Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
Document the functional specifications and provides user and operational support when new developments are initially released into a production environment
Support systems change processes from requirements through implementation
Provide input and solutions based on analysis of information
Desired Skills/Experience:
4 years of relevant experience in financial services industry
Fund Accounting experience an advantage but not essential
Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
Ability to exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
