Job Purpose:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Predictive Modeler. This key position provides mathematical analysis of existing and future contemplated Scoring Models; Interfaces with clients and credit bureaus
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Test and Implement scoring models for consumer lending clients
Actively monitor the performance of models in production
Analyze & interpret large amount of global data sets and articulate business insight from analysis
Present technical analysis to internal and external clients
Perform model validation and partner with IT to implement new scoring models and scoring platforms
Communicate analytical results in terms that are meaningful to business managers; effectively communicate complex modeling concepts and interface with senior management and other members of the organization
Train and develop junior analytic staff
Manage multiple modeling projects simultaneously
Skills and Specifications:
Proficient with machine learning tools or statistical analysis tools
Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
Strong Team Player
Expert M.S. Excel skills
Experience with - JMP (SAS), Angoss, IBM – SPSS, Helix Tree, Neural Network, Genetic Programming Software - Helpful but not required
Education:
Master’s degree/PhD in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, Molecular Biology, Computer Science or Applied Math
5 years of extensive hands-on predictive modeling experience
