The Senior Director, Financial Services - Managed Care Contracting assumes leadership role in Organization Management of payer contracting including portfolio, performance, execution, coordination and implementation of Value Based and Fee-For-Service arrangements for facility, physician, and ancillary agreements.  Additional duties include:
 

*Assist with price modeling, hospital contract modeling, performance monitoring and auditing. *Supports multiple highly variable priorities with aggressive timelines to ensure maximum revenue to Carilion entities. *Provides leadership for the effective and efficient operation of these services and ensures that the activities and goals of these services are aligned with the business plan. *Facilitates the implementation of new processes and programs on a cross-department organizational structure.  *Facilitates the linkage between the financial and clinical areas for managed care contracting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or business administration.  Master's degree in business administration or related field desirable

EXPERIENCE: Seven years of experience in managed care contracting, provider relations and/or finance.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: CPA desirable
