SUMMARY:

This position is a Finance Accounting (F&A) leadership role that provides financial and business leadership while ensuring good stewardship within the FS Prepared Foods Business Unit. This position reports directly to the Sr Director of FS Prepared Foods F&A and has dotted line responsibility to the Bacon/Ham/Sausage/Sandwich Business Family. Duties and responsibilities include business unit margin reporting and analysis; business unit sales and operations balance sheet management reconciliation reporting and analysis; business unit category customer pricing analysis; business unit monthly projection preparation and analysis; Annual Plan / Strategic Plan preparation and reporting; continual business process improvement identification and implementation and other duties as assigned. Support as needed for capital project preparation analysis and reporting; managing and developing a group of financial managers and analyst; ensuring proper Internal Control and SOX compliance within the Business Unit and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance is required.

Experience: 10 plus years experience preferred with previous accounting supervisory experience.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills, Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with all levels of business management and F&A staff.

Supervisory: Position is responsible for supervising and interacting with varying levels of F&A and Business Management.

Travel: 4 or more domestic trips per year.
