Description

Humana is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to join our Retail Operations team in Louisville, KY. This position has the option to be remote/work-at-home or in-office once it is determined safe to return to the office. However, you must live within 50 miles of Louisville.

Responsibilities

As the Business Intelligence Engineer 2, you will work with Billing and Recon Operations to develop automated processes for their business needs (SSIS and Power Apps) as well as perform data mining to drive business decisions by creating data sets and performing root cause analysis on different processes. Additional responsibilities include:


Developing Ad Hoc Reporting
Developing aggregated and detailed reporting for clients using Power BI and SSRS
Migrating SSRS reporting to Power BI
Collaborating and partnering with a Senior Engineer on larger projects
Determining new solutions for business issues


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
2 years' experience in data analysis and/or using ETL tools
2 years' experience using SQL to maintain and build large data sets
Experience with Power BI and SSRS
Proficient in root cause analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Demonstrated ability to problem solve and provide solutions for business or data issues
Must live within 50 miles of Louisville, KY


Work at Home/Remote Requirements


Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings
Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs


Preferred Qualifications


Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Healthcare experience
Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as Informatica, SAS, SPSS, Python
Advanced Experience with ETL and related tools such as SSIS
Experience with Tableau
