Position Description:
Position Purpose:
The Sr Financial Systems Analyst is part of the Planning Systems admin team within Finance Integration.  The team is responsible for meeting business objectives through supporting the applications the Finance teams use to set, monitor, change/evolve along with business changes, and measure total company, team, and operator performance and KPIs and will be an integral part of the evolution to create best in class financial systems and processes.  The team is responsible for the day to day system administration and support activities to ensure the planning applications are functioning properly, properly secured and accessible by appropriate users, updated to reflect the company's KPIs and organizational structure as they evolve, and accurately reflecting plan and actual financial metrics.  The Sr Financial Systems Analyst is an integral part of the team responsible for executing the teams tasks and deliverables to ensure timelines and activities are executed and coordinated with the financial planners, tasks are prioritized and executed according to quality expectations and set deadlines.  The Sr Financial Systems Analyst coordinates activities inside the team and with external users and vendor partners and is a key contributor and distributor of team, application users, and leadership communications and status updates. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Provides project management including planning and timeline management for the project.  Quickly learn and thoroughly understand the departmental processes Provide business support to system changes/implementation Evaluate existing processes and implement process improvements Provide change management leadership Overall responsibility for ensuring that the project meets the business need  Complete project-related activities including but not limited to:  Business process evaluation  Procedure development  Develop process flow and requirements  Quality Assurance testing  Implementation planning  Documentation  User training  Production support for problems/enhancements  Ensures adequate communication and proper integration across departments, systems and platforms. NATURE AND SCOPE
Typically reports to Sr. Manager or Manager 
Accountable for direct supervision of the work activities of others. Planning, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. This may include direct supervision of a shift or the coordination of multiple work groups. Makes recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment: 
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel: 
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
