Job Details:

Summary: This position will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of all phases of a fully integrated Payroll department. Duties will include but not limited to managing team metrics; KPIs, weekly processing of payroll per company policy along with state and federal laws; maintain a neutral budget; assist in reconciling time loads and identify discrepancies; ensuring that company objectives are met and in line with Payroll industry benchmarks; resolve Payroll issues with TEAM members, HR, management, and plant location personnel; partnering with Payroll outsources as needed and other duties as required.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job; Accounting or Finance degree preferred but not required.

Experience: Minimum three years of related experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Access. Must have the ability to work with complex spreadsheets and formulas which can generate accruals, JE’s and analyze data.

Communication Skills: Effective written, presentation, and verbal communication skills. Must have strong customer service skills. Strong team-oriented skills as well as a high level of self-motivation while working independently. Ability to work with a diverse group of people across various functional groups and locations. Track record for exceeding multiple goals on various short-term projects simultaneously.

Travel: 2-3 domestic trips per year
