Profile

As a member of the Foodservice Channel Development team this position is primarily responsible for leading the development of and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns to help customers grow their foodservice program in the K-12 Segment.

This includes objective planning, direct customer relationship building, regional sales team support, national promotional development and customer segment expertise. This role will focus on driving increased volume through the K-12 segment by partnering with customers to grow student participation through marketing activations with must-win and partner level accounts as well as partnering with sales team to implement marketing support for their customers.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:


Assisting in the development of and contributing to long range and annual plans with key customers
Developing strategic and tactical solutions across all brands and categories to deliver operating results through national marketing activations, culinary collaboration, advertising, social media, print and digital campaigns
Development and management of trade show content and point of sale materials
Assisting in the development of the annual K-12 channel marketing budget along with tracking and ensuring compliance to budget
Managing communication strategies and execution of promotional activities
Developing and managing customer relationships and recognition within the K-12 segment, as the segment expert, through involvement in various industry organizations, groups or presentation opportunities
Working closely with outside marketing agencies and internal creative teams as they develop materials for campaign executions
Manage recipe website and collaboration with culinary team to develop recipes and menu concepts to meet customer needs


REQUIREMENTS

Location: United States-Remote

Education: Bachelor degree in business marketing finance or other related discipline preferred; Registered Dietician certification strongly preferred.

Experience: 5 years’ experience in foodservice, retail or K-12 marketing experience preferred. K-12 Nutritional & program regulations experience preferred

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required especially in Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required and presentation/public speaking

Special Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks and projects and influencing other team members to achieve project and timeline requirements. Strong creative and problem solving skills to find customer solutions. Consultative selling focused.

Travel: 15 trips per year

Supervisory: No direct reports
