Personal Banker- Digital Services
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Personal Banker in our Digital Services Department based in our San Jose Corporate Office.
As a Personal Banker in the Digital Services department, your major responsibilities will include:
Building relationships with new and existing members by serving as the main point of contact for individuals who have submitted loan applications, new membership and account applications through the credit unions digital channels.
Assisting members with all remote loan and new account request while providing courteous and accurate service.
Interviewing members to identify lending and new account needs; process members loans. Effectively cross sell payment protection products (i.e. Wealth Protection, GAP etc.).
Effectively explaining mortgage products and services and provide real estate loan information to members. Make quality referrals to mortgage loan partner. Sere as liaison between third party service provider and member throughout the process.
Performing outreach activities (including following up with new members by telephone) as part of the Credit Unions new member onboarding process.
Proactively connecting with our members through outbound sales calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing relationship. Conducting outbound sales calls using targeted lists.
Interviewing members to identify additional financial needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services to serve those financial needs.
Achieving assigned goals that may include, but not be limited to, sales; revenue, account, and membership growth; member service; and services per household.
This position requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Individuals in this position must satisfy all of the requirements under the category of Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) and satisfactorily complete and supply all of the required information. Additionally, individuals in this position must satisfy all requirement to become an endorsee of the Credit Unions State of Californias Credit Insurance Business Entity License. These requirements remain a condition of employment in this position.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
at least six months to one year of similar or related experience and previous experience with processing real estate and consumer loans, new memberships and new accounts. Exceptional customer service skills are required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor are required. Prior experience working in a credit union or bank strongly preferred.
Pay Range: $23.80/hour - $29.74/hour; based on skills and experience.
