We are actively seeking a talented and experienced technical procurement analyst responsible for procuring IT hardware, software, contracted services and maintaining our inventory and asset databases. The eligible candidate will have the chance to network with clients, vendors, and in-house personnel to maximize resources and efficiency. The candidate will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, courtesy, and will be communicating with others at all levels of the organization.
You will be responsible for:
Negotiate, purchase, and communicate with technology suppliers for purchases at several locations globally.
Create and send purchase orders for hardware, software, and other services.
Maintain shipping and receiving records all purchases.
Maintain stock of hardware needed on a day-to-day basis.
Assist in shipping items internationally including but not limited to paperwork associated with Customs and Excise duties.
Resolved account payable and invoicing issues.
Assist in device management for mobile devices.
Assist in maintaining our Global telecom, asset, hardware and software database(s).
Communicate proactively with personnel to satisfy their purchasing needs, identify problems, create solutions, and discuss improvements with manager.
Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and needs.
Some lifting and moving of inventory are required.
A high degree of detail in data entry, receiving and tagging assets.
Ability to create business cases for executive approvals.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
You are someone who has:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Extensive teamwork abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office365.
Excellent problem-solving and organization skills.
5 years of negotiation and contract evaluation experience.
Minimum 3 years Purchasing experience in the IT field, including development work and interactions with end users
Detail-oriented self-starter that is comfortable working both independently and collaborating with your team
Experience in financial services industry.
Time management and organizational skills required.
High level of professionalism and phone etiquette.
A continuous learner and willingness to assist in projects outside of your normal day to day activities.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification.
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, OnBase and Service Now.
Strong experience working with data sets and manipulation in MS Excel.
