The individual will work in Aon reinsurance’s mortgage analytics team to deliver value added reinsurance solutions to our clients. Your work will support mortgage credit risk transfer (CRT) reinsurance deal placements and other client projects working closely with other Aon colleagues. You will also perform market research and industry studies.Associate Directors are expected to be proficient in standard analyses, while also providing thought leadership and creating more advanced analyses as needed. You will become familiar with Aon’s tools and approach, contribute to our client’s development and present Aon’s solutions and services to our clients.How this opportunity is differentAon is the #1 broker in the mortgage credit risk reinsurance market. We have career development paths and promote from within first.Skills and experience that will lead to successStrong proficiency in R (or similar programming language), SQL, and MS Office suite, particularly Excel/VBA and PowerPointMortgage modeling or mortgage analytics experience preferred, but we are also open to candidates with strong analytics background from other finance fields or consulting experienceStrong ability to understand and perform mathematical and statistical calculationsAbility to identify and resolve problems, think creatively, strategically, and analyticallyAbility to work independently and in team environment.
