This role is responsible for establishing operational financial models to monitor and prove program efficacy and performance. This individual contributor will provide recommendations for program improvements as well as inputs for program transformation.
Youll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
Convert operational workflows and processes into financial models for process improvements, performance tracking, and variance analysis
Translate and tie operational processes to enterprise and business goals
Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement
Measure program or initiative efficacy; identify drivers and impediments to program goals to recommend next steps
Work with Program, Finance and Market leaders to create and manage financial models related to operational activity
Lead development of financial cases for specific initiatives and develop metrics to monitor progress, risk, and performance
Develop standard approach to partnering and communicating with multiple corporate, market, and business stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
7 years of financial modeling experience
5 years of working with operational programs or process flows
Experience working with multiple levels and departments organizationally to accomplish defined objectives
Experience communicating effectively with executive teams
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment Programs
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Proficiency working in a matrixed environment
Proven comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast paced environment

The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $118,000 to $226,800. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
