About this role:

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a Lead Credit Risk Officer to help lead the Transformation, Innovation and Strategic Alliances space. This is a critical second line of defense function in the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) organization, aligned to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Auto.

There is a lot of exciting change taking place, and this position is focused on helping the business efficiently achieve its goals while effectively managing risks across the board.

In this role, you will:


Provide oversight and credible challenge to a wide variety of existing and brand-new business initiatives; this includes but is not limited to exploring, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of new digital application platforms, online sales channels, and vehicle manufacturer direct relationships
Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
Review business cases for new initiatives, challenging assumptions and value propositions, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, values and appropriate organizational maturity/readiness
Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
Interact with other Independent Risk Management, Audit and, Legal partners, as well as 3rd party business partners


Required Qualifications, US:


5 years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:


5 Years of credit risk experience in a consumer lending business
3 years of auto experience, with a focus on origination policy/strategy, risk, underwriting, or business development
Extremely strong communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships
A demonstrated track record of extracting, analyzing and synthesizing data into well-articulated business insights that can be clearly communicated to a variety of partners
Experience developing and challenging business cases, including new volume projections, based on a combination of data analysis and business expertise
Experience with SAS or SQL
A Master's degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative or business-related field (ex. Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration)
