The Director will be an active member of the Cell Therapy Franchise Finance Team and will report to the Cell Therapy Franchise Finance Lead. This individual will drive the implementation of CAR T financial processes for the Cell Therapy franchise in collaboration with key matrix team partners.

Responsibilities include


Lead Finance CAR T product launch planning to ensure commercial launch readiness at the country level via close collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, Supply Chain, IT, Legal, Patient Operation and Finance stakeholders





Liaise with country Finance Directors to ensure relevant accounting procedures and controls for CAR T are developed in consultation with corporate Technical Accounting and Business Controls to support product launch





Planning and leading workstreams in support of product launches which may include

Evaluation of CAR T contracts for financial and controls recommendations

Development of accounting treatments for CAR T revenue recognition and support programs

Confirmation of CAR T end-to-end financial flows and pricing arrangements

Assessment and Implementation of CAR T financial transactions for product launch in relation to system integration

Assessment of system controls designed for CAR T Order to Cash process

Partnering seamlessly with Order to Cash GPO, Record to Report GPO, Corp Tax, Treasury, Hematology Finance, Cell Therapy Development Operation Finance and Controller’s group to ensure appropriate alignment with all key initiatives and priorities









Identify the critical path of workstreams to actively track progress and perform impact assessment for any potential delays; develop risk mitigation plans as needed

Lead the development of presentations for Finance CAR T launch activities and provide on-going business updates to Cell Therapy Commercialization Steering Committee and Finance Leadership Team


Requirements


7 - 10 years Finance leadership

Relevant U.S. or other market experience in Pharmaceuticals supporting multiple functions/BUs

Strong working knowledge of financial systems including SAP/Oracle and Hyperion preferred

Experience in mobilizing matrix team members, embracing teamwork and project management within a cross functional environment will be critical

Mastery in product specific financial planning and forecast for product launch

Ability to work in a fast pace environment often with aggressive deadlines and quick turnarounds

Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, auditing or program management

CPA, Chartered Accountant and/or an MBA is a differentiator
