For more information, visit ****Now we are actively looking for a Financial Controlling & Accounting Specialist to join our organization, who will be both in charge of Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands.

The Position

This role is a generalist in accounting, reporting to the Financial Control Manager (FC), working in a team of 3-4 accountants.

Responsibilities

• Follow up & lead on Local and USGAAP Financial Statements
• Control & Coordinate the month end close within corporate deadlines based on required controls and reporting
• Conduct various month end or annual reports, journal entries and reconciliations in a timely manner
• Prepare detailed BS and P&L and analysis, support and control the BS reconciliation, analysis and review
• Maintain cost of goods sold transactions including relevant postings & reporting
• Support inventory and stock related adjustments and controls, including cycle counting
• Complete and act as main contact for intercompany & non-intercompany reconciliations and cross-charges
• Perform IFRS16 leasing agreements on global system and required journal entries
• Support and coordinate internal and external audit processes as relevant
• Support FC in establishing necessary policy and procedures, controls and reporting systems to maintain and enforce effective financial controls
• Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc analysis to guide and support FC in such strategic decisions

Ideal Candidate

• University degree in a relevant field (i.e; Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business etc.)
• CPA degree is an asset
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, or equivalent role in a multinational environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS)
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Experience in SAP or similar ERP & reporting systems and MS Office.
• Analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people
• High sense of quality and responsibility as well as ability to work autonomously
• Excellent attention to detail capability
• Competent in problem solving
• Proactive, team player, result-oriented
