Job Summary

The Digital Project Manager leads and manages projects in a multidisciplinary environment to support clients with software, workflow automation, integration, data management, IT infrastructure solutions and consulting services in digital platforms. Responsibilities include planning the project to deliver according to project objectives, schedule, scope, budget, and quality expected in accordance with contractual agreements with clients. The Project Manager is expected to also meet all KPIs, ensuring changes to project scope are in line with the business focus and that the context of the project, including risks, is actively managed in alignment with the company’s digital business goals, PMO standard and best practise. He/she is expected to manage external customer, internal projects, and services deployment. Some travel or onsite engagement at client premises are expected as and when it is needed.

Responsibilities


Project document creation for technical domain and/or cross domains project and service deployment
Lead the team to understand the project objectives, work scopes and service deliverables and make project plan
Create project schedule, resources plan, project financial P&L, risk and issue log using internal project management tool
Manage and control all project work scopes, efforts, resources and financial to ensure the project is meeting project objectives and PMO KPOs till project closure
Proactively manage quality, risks and issues, providing leadership to determine appropriate mitigation plans, escalating as necessary with communication to stakeholders
Manage all change requests actively to prevent scope creeps and keeping sponsors/stakeholders on all changes timely
Engage and manage multiple stakeholders and third-party partner with communication plan in resolving risks and issues during deployment. Fostering collaboration across businesses and geographies at all levels
Provide regular project progress, risks, and issue updates to stakeholders for decision making and intervention
Assist project team to coordinate solution bug and capture users’ feedback to engineering team to ensure a process of continuous improvement
Deliver exceptional client service with high quality and maximizing project benefits values and user adoption of technology/solution deployed to clients
Maintain project documents updates and archival into internal SharePoint Site till closure with lesson learnt
Identify and develop new business opportunities for existing services deployment, supports and maintenance
Give coaching and mentoring to project team members and less experienced project managers when they face challenges in project execution
Remain current on new technologies and project management methodology


Experience & Exposures


Minimum 10 years work experience in multi-cultural environment and organization. Oil & Gas industry work experience is a plus
At least 5 years in managing and leading Operations, IT, Integration and Digital project execution for external clients
Great degree of exposure with high and medium scale of complexity and risk project
Experience in on prem and cloud platform digital solution, operations, work process and workflow integration exposure
Able to deal with customers, third party partner, developers, testers, and software engineering teams effectively
Familiar with DevOps Software deployment practices is a plus
Working in a global, international, and multicultural environment


Skills Needed


Strong understanding of Project Management Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle
Strong in managing projects using Waterfall model and Agile project management methodologies
Proven track record/achievements in client project deployment related to process improvement and project deployment which bring value/benefit impacts to clients
Good client-facing and internal communication skills
High proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office/project management tools


Education


Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, business administration, IT, finance, computer science or any other field
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is must
PRINCE II/Agile certification can be considered
