Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture - the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Senior Financial Analyst/Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the demands of multiple constituents, including company executives, regulators, and stakeholders. The FP&A team supports Product and Regional executive leadership by providing consolidated and business-level analysis and reporting. By building on existing analyses as well as providing new, value-added review and analysis, the team provides consistent, actionable, and insightful understanding of insurance projects in North America.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare rolling forecast and annual planning cycle P&L projections
Support the quarterly close process and performance of variance analysis of actuals Vs projected full P&L results
Perform monthly expense and premium reporting and analysis
Maintain and enhance analysis models that underpin the actual Vs projected results analysis cycles
Coordinate with the North America FP&A and Expense Management teams to complete deliverables within required timelines
Interact with various areas (Underwriting, Actuarial, Operations, Sales) within the Accident & Health organization to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from the Underwriting and Sales functions, providing concise and insightful management report
Complete projects as assigned
Locations
Knoxville, TN is highly preferred.
Other locations include Nashville-TN, Charlotte-NC, Raleigh-NC, Atlanta-GA
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience working in one or more of the following: Insurance, Financial Services, and/or Finance and Accounting
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA and/or CPA
A proven track record in FP&A
Possess analytical and practical problem-solving skills with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional Skills
Maintain a positive attitude with the ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
Collaborate and interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
Ability to multitask with a variety of systems and processes.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
