Sound like you?Opportunity Summary:Upland Software is seeking a SEC Reporting Manager who will be responsible for the preparation and filing of all required SEC filings, and accounting for the Companyu2019s equity-based transactions. We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented individual that thrives in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with high technical accounting acumen to advance their career while gaining valuable SaaS industry experience at an acquisitive company. This role reports directly to the Companyu2019s Chief Accounting Officer and has high visibility to the Companyu2019s C-suite. Responsibilities: Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the Companyu2019s SEC filings in compliance with all SEC and US GAAP requirements including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, etc.; Manage XBRL tagging related to SEC filings; Maintain support for all SEC filings and investor presentations; Analyze new accounting guidance from the FASB, SEC and other regulatory bodies, including evaluating the impact of new guidance on the Companyu2019s financial statements and assist in implementing new accounting standards; Prepare information for the Companyu2019s quarterly Disclosure Committee meetings; Perform research and peer analysis on high level SEC and technical accounting issues to determine appropriate accounting treatment and related financial disclosures; Work closely with Investor Relations in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases; Coordinate closely with our independent auditors to provide timely support and responses related to quarterly reviews and annual audits; Responsible for the effective execution and documentation of internal controls surrounding the financial reporting process in accordance with SOX; Oversee the accounting of all equity related transactions and stock-based compensation plans, including the valuation, forecasting, recording, and reporting of stock-based compensation expense, related tax impact and earnings per share; Work cross-functionally with the finance department, internal legal counsel, and external independent auditors.What you bring to the team: Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field; 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience or 4 years in public accounting (SaaS industry experience is a plus); CPA certification preferred; Big 4 experience preferred; Experience with Equity Edge Online Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting and reporting requirements; Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with experience in working toward tight deadlines; Thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills; Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, fluid, and dynamic environment; Experience with stock-based compensation accounting; Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism;Upland Software (Nasdaq: UPLD) is a leader in cloud-based tools for digital transformation.
