As the Director of Pricing Operations, you will direct and drive the pricing strategy and structure that maximizes EBITDA for the LTL business unit. You will also interact with the LTL and Corporate leadership teams as you support the activities of the department and the LTL organization. What you'll do on a typical day:
Drive activities and behaviors to achieve EBITDA, Yield, and Volume targets.
Coordinate annual GRI activities, as well as continual CNWY 199 tariff maintenance
Drive contract renewal activities to maximize both volume and profitability
Monitor, update, and execute Pricing policies
Identify and oversee the development of automation opportunities throughout the department.
Make recommendations for, and manage, the development of next generation decision support tools
Improve Pricing department employee satisfaction and engagement
Coach and develop team members, including hiring, assessing, disciplining, documenting performance and recommending salary and classification changes
Work cross functionally with Sales, Linehaul, Operations, I/T, HR, and Finance
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
7 years of experience in pricing and/or revenue management (see above)
3 years of experience leading and developing people
It'd be great if you also have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Operations or a business-related field
10 years of experience in pricing and revenue management practices within the travel and transportation industry
Strong knowledge of pricing practices, techniques and strategies
The ability to operate and influence in a matrix management organization with different lines of business
