As the Manager, Financial Systems, you will gather business requirements, create functional design specifications, implement test plans, and provide production support of financial applications. What you'll do on a typical day:
Lead a team of Business Analysts focused on the delivery of business projects including interviewing, hiring, training and performance evaluations
Maintain operational ownership of business unit/systems, which includes leading multiple initiatives of various sizes in capacity and resource planning, project planning, project tracking, status reporting and actively influencing work efforts
Participate in refining customer requirements, developing solutions, assessing project viability, estimating new work efforts and managing roadmaps
Foster relationships across all Finance business units, Corporate and Shared Service areas
Maintain accountability for the design, implementation and compliance to XPO Project Development and SOX controls
Drive continuous improvement efforts and innovation throughout all team activities; design and implement measures and KPIs to monitor all aspects of development and delivery
Oversee vendors, including relationship management, product roadmap, support issue resolution and support contract negotiation
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
5 years of experience in a fast-paced software development environment
Hands-on experience in implementing or supporting one or more of the following Oracle applications in R12: Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Receivables, Oracle Payables, Oracle Fixed Assets
Ability to operate effectively in an agile and waterfall environment
It'd be great if you also have:
Master's Degree
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
8 years of experience in a fast-paced software development environment
3 years of experience leading teams of professionals
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
Accounting/Financial certification/designation
Experience with Lean/Six Sigma management concepts and/or certifications
PMP Certification
