DESCRIPTION
The Assist Senior Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of programming and systems as they interface with all mainframe systems. Responsibilities include testing systems with new vendors and working with management to analyze current needs and future possible changes. Collect and maintain assigned statistical data for the division for necessary reporting functions.','!*!
Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing analysis and interpretation of company results. The individual would be required to gather information necessary for analysis, prepare reports and interact with executive management.
Job Duties
Coordinate with management to create financial forecasts and plans
Prepare month end reports using excel based financial models
Forecast, analyze and provide summary of organizations trends in sales, margin and other business conditions
Create specified ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of financial data
Develop and update models to provide analysis for various financial conditions related to business operations
Provide ongoing tracking, reporting and analysis of trends in various operating areas
Expense analysis including components of SG&A and buying & occupancy
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Power point
Comfortable when challenged with difficult, unstructured problems that must be solved quickly
2-4 years of relevant experience
Strong financial modeling capabilities utilizing data from numerous sources to achieve desired results
Requires planning / organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
