Director of Finance. - 175k bonus
Prestigious Mid-Sized law firm in Palm Beach is seeking a Director of Finance for the Firm.
The Finance Directors will work closely with the Board of Directors, Attorneys and Practice Groups and will be a direct report to the Executive Director of the firm.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the accounting department which will include, payroll, billing, collections, accounts payable, conflicts, and accounting management.
The finance directors will be responsible for reviewing and preparation of the firm's monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, financial projections and all of management reports to be presented to the Board.
Production of reports and completions of varied projects as designated by Executive Director.
Detailed budgets, monitoring and reporting on variations set forth by Executive Director and Administrative managers.
Monitor all general ledger accounts.
Effectively manage accounts receivables.
Maintain relationships with banking institutions
Work with external accounting firm in coordinating corporate tax components and other related areas.
Coordinate and work with outside agencies on any firm audit
Maintain financial statements for various firm related partnerships and entities.
Maintain and manage all company stock records
Liaison with the firm's third party administrator for the firm's profit sharing , compliance reports and 401(k) compliance committee
Prepare monthly Florida Tax Return and review, reconcile annual corporate tax returns.
Education and Experience:
CPA preferred
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
The finance director must possess a strong attention to detail as well as strong organizational skills
The candidate must possess strong verbal and communication skills.
Analytical and strong problem solving skills.
Prior law firm experience and supervisory skills are preferred.
