The Opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Regional Director of Finance to join our team in West Virginia. As Regional Director of Finance, you will oversee the Finance and Accounting functions for both Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling WV, and Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes WV. This position will lead financial planning and reporting, accounting practices, budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control requirements. The home location for this position can be at either Mardi Grad Casino or Wheeling Island Casino and will involve travel on a regular basis between the two properties.Relocation assistance for this role is available. Click here to learn more.Responsibilities nDevelop, analyze, and interpret financial information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, capital planning, cash forecasting, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the subsidiary. nn Direct the reporting of the unit’s financial statements, Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow based on past, present, and future operations.nnLead the implementation of financial related projects and system implementation changes at the subsidiary.nDevelop and measure key performance metrics, analyze business trends and financial results and offer suggestions to the team for efficiencies across the property.nDirect the Cage Department in operational needs, control requirements, procedural efficiencies, and resolution of guest complaints.nOversee all compliance and reporting requirements within the subsidiary including, Minimum Internal Controls, Anti-Money Laundering Policy, GITCA, Delaware North accounting policies and procedures, alcohol awareness, and PCI compliance.nReview audit findings and assist in the development of action plans and enforcement of the agreed-upon solutions. nQualifications nBachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.n10 or more years of experience in finance and accounting, with 5-7 years in financial management roles such as accounting manager, controller, or finance director.nHighly analytical, skilled financial professional with multiple years of experience as a controller or finance director.nExceptional communication skills with proven experience as a strong team leader and manager.nProven ability to meet or exceed established goals including the ability to meet established deadlines.nOutstanding organizational skills including the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using PeopleSoft Financials required.nnExperience with compliance requirements and the ability to obtain and retain a West Virginia Gaming license.nnWho We Are At Delaware North, you’ll love where you work, who you work with, and how your day unfolds.
