The Financial Analyst is responsible for the accounting and financial duties required to support the needs of Critical Mass's ever-growing Wander Studio. Reporting directly to Wander’s Production Accountant, you will:
Review, analyze, and manage project budgets
Liaise with the Production Accountant, Producers, and Operations on the status of production jobs
Provide analysis of project budgets to producers and other relevant parties
Review financial documentation and contracts for numerical accuracy with Producers
Forecast and report monthly revenue accruals to CM’s Finance Department
Manage vendor relations and accounts payable processes
Manage time tracking and billing systems
Work with and mentor other financial team members as required
You Have:
A degree with an accounting or finance major preferred
2-3 years of previous experience in finance or accounting
Strong analytical skills and sound accounting knowledge
Exceptional computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Leadership, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills
Impeccable attention to detail while maintaining an understanding of the big picture
Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced, flexible environment
A keen sense of urgency coupled with a “whatever-it-takes” attitude
Demonstrated technical and business aptitude
Self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision
Experience in overseeing finances pertaining to live action commercials, shoots, films, and the making of original content is an asset
