Description

Humana is seeking a Portfolio Management Professional with strong Communication skills & ability to build rapport with Senior Leaders while discussing & understanding portfolio strategies and their financial impacts. The individual should have a good understanding and/or experience in managing financials with distribution & tracking of Project Budget, Forecast & allocation of dollars. He/she should be proficient in MS-Excel & should have knowledge of other office tools.

Responsibilities

The Demand and Portfolio Management Professional 2 collaborates with the business portfolio team to align the IT portfolio and demand. The Demand and Portfolio Management Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Demand and Portfolio Management Professional 2 organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, and changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree required
At least 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field, specifically with 2 years in Program/Project or Portfolio management
Proficiency with MS Excel (formulas, data manipulation, Pivot Tables and Charts, graphs, trends)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders (PowerPoint)
Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


2 years of experience in financial management, budget planning and budget development of IT
ServiceNow, Agile, Power BI experience
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Six Sigma certification
PMP certification
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams


Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
